we will call you
Dear Legionnaires and fellow Veterans,
On behalf of the American Legion Post 316, I would like to welcome you to our Post website. Although we are not the largest Post in New York, we are among the very active ones and take pride in the role we play in the Staten Island community. As with all volunteer organizations, our members are the backbone of our Post and so we are always looking for new people to join us and give a helping hand. The work is rewarding and the sense of family is strong and genuine. Besides Post members, we also have support from the members of our Sons of the American Legion Squadron
We work with many organizations in our Veterans’ communities to provide help for many people.
We are proud to sponsor Legion programs, including the American Legion Boy’s and Girl’s State and knowledge of Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation programs, including what we are calling Operation to our First Responders.
One again, welcome to our Post; I sincerely hope that we will meet in person at the Post or at a Post event. If you are in the area, please stop by and say hello; we are always looking to make new friends. If you are a member and have not been to a Post meeting in a while stop in and see what is new. I promise either way you will be delighted and happy.
For additional information you can contact me Commander Carmine Vacirca at firstname.lastname@example.org or our Post Adjutant Lester Modelowitz at KGPost316@gmail.com or our membership chairman and Vice Commander Allen Palazzo at email@example.com.
See you at a Post function!
For God and Country,
Commander: Carmine Vacirca
All Post meetings are held on the third Monday of each month.
No Meeting Will Be Held In July and August
